Matt Quezergue, CFP®, is a Senior Wealth Advisor at Aspen Wealth Management. He works closely with individuals and families to help them navigate important financial decisions and build strategies aligned with their long-term goals. Matt serves as a lead advisor for many client relationships, providing guidance on retirement planning, investment management, tax planning, and broader wealth management strategies. He is currently pursuing the Tax Planning Certified Professional™ (TPCP™) designation to further deepen his expertise in tax-efficient financial planning.
Matt joined Aspen Wealth Management right after graduating from Texas A&M and quickly became known for his empathetic nature and active listening skills. His expertise in financial planning, stock option analysis, and tax strategies, combined with his attention to detail, allows him to develop thoughtful financial strategies tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. Matt enjoys helping clients simplify complex financial decisions and build confidence in their financial futures.
Matt’s passion for financial planning began during his studies at Texas A&M, where he graduated with a BBA in Finance and a minor in Financial Planning in May 2021. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2023 and remains committed to ongoing professional development. Matt lives by the mantra, “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything,” which resonates with his commitment to understanding his “why” in all aspects of life, guiding his decisions and actions both personally and professionally.
Outside of work, Matt serves on the Board of Directors for SteerFW, an organization dedicated to developing emerging leaders and increasing civic engagement in Fort Worth. He enjoys cooking, exploring farmers and specialty markets, staying active through fitness and outdoor activities, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts. Matt also enjoys attending and watching sporting events, particularly basketball, soccer, and baseball.
